Two more Union Station shooting victims discharged from Children’s Mercy, one remains in hospital

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - On Wednesday, 11 victims were taken to Children’s Mercy Hospital, nine of whom suffered gunshot wounds during a shooting at Union Station. As of Friday morning, one remained in the hospital.

Hospital staff said on Thursday afternoon that all of the victims are expected to recover and just three children remained in hospital care.

Fast-forward to Friday morning and Children’s Mercy Hospital stated that two patients were discharged as of 10:30 a.m. One patient remained at the hospital.

The United Way has established an emergency fund to community in its effort to heal Kansas City following Wednesday’s shooting at Union Station.
