Several Chiefs to miss Arrowhead matchup against Chargers

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Several players among the Kansas City Chiefs are prepared to miss the home matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Sunday evening, Dec. 8, ahead of the game at Arrowhead Stadium, that Running Back Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Defensive End Joshua Uche, Offensive Lineman C.J. Hanson, Tackle Ethank Driskell, Tackle Kinglsey Sumataia, Defensive Tackle Marlon Tuipulotu and Defensive End Malik Herring will not play.

Edwards-Helaire has not played yet this season due to complications from post-traumatic stress disorder. Tight End Mecole Hardman was also listed as questionable on the Chiefs’ injury report on Saturday.

However, Left Tackle D.J. Humphries, who signed in late November is expected to make his debut in Kansas City. Matthew Wright is also expected to kick again in place of Kickers Spencer Shrader and Harrison Butker, who are both injured.

Meanwhile, the Chargers have listed Quarterback Easton Stick, Linebacker Denzel Perryman, Wide Receiver Ladd McConkey, Safety Tony Jefferson, Offensive Lineman Brenden Jaimes, Offensive LIneman Jordan McFadden and Defensive Lineman Justin Eboigbe on its inactive list.
