Flu rates highest since December 2023 in Douglas County, higher than RSV, COVID

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Kan. (KCTV) - Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health posted on Jan. 2 on Facebook that flu rates are up.
Flu rates are the highest they have been since 2023.
Both COVID and RSV visits are at 1%, meanwhile, flu ED visits have gone up to 6%.
Flu and COVID wastewater levels are now considered higher, but RSV levels remain low in Lawrence.
New data will be reported next week.
