St. Joseph city facilities will be closed on Monday, Jan. 6, due to extreme winter weather. All emergency services will remain in operation, however, non-essential facilities will close. The City Council meeting will be held as scheduled at 5:30 p.m. Transit services will also not be available.

Kansas City streetcar service has been suspended due to deteriorating winter weather and limited visibility Downtown. Those on board a streetcar can remain on board or exit while service is suspended. The team will continue to maintain the tracks and resume service once it is safe.
