ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV/Gray News) - A father of 7 died after a tree fell on his car during severe weather in St. Louis.

Rachel Baltazar said she believes her husband, Jaun Baltazar, was on his way home from Lowe’s when a tree fell onto his car on South Grand in Carondelet Park.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

“Everybody loves him and we’re going to miss him,” Rachel Baltazar said.

Juan was known in St. Louis for owning and operating a street corn food truck, El Madilon. His wife says the business was his pride and joy, but the seven children he leaves behind were most important to him.

“They are very attached to him, all of his kids, he talked to all of his kids every single day,” Rachel Baltazar said.

A GoFundMe has been set up to Rachel Baltazar and their children, as well as one of Jaun Baltazar’s older children.

Jaun is one of five victims killed by Friday’s storm and tornado that hit the St. Louis metro area.
