Man, woman found shot dead in South Kansas City driveway
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Two people are dead after a late-night shooting in a South Kansas City neighborhood.
The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department says that just after 9 p.m., law enforcement officials were called to the area of 96th and Fremont Ave. with reports of a shooting.
As officers arrived, they were directed to the driveway of a residence. There, they found a man and a woman both suffering from gunshot wounds.
Officers immediately began performing R and ordered KCFD EMS to the scene. Medics declared both victims deceased when they arrived.
They were identified as 36-year-old Adriane Stanley and 35-year-old Demtrius Davis.
This is being investigated as a homicide, and no one is in custody.
A preliminary investigation points to a fight breaking out among several people, which led to the deadly shots fired.
