Behavioral therapist caught by father sexually abusing autistic child, prosecutors say
SANTA ANA, Calif. (Gray News) - An in-home behavioral therapist has been charged with molesting an autistic boy during a session in the boy’s home.

Authorities said Salvador Armando Arriaga, 32, held a therapy session in the boy’s bedroom while his father stayed in the living room to care for another child.
According to the Orange County District Attorney, the boy’s father became concerned when he did not hear a conversation, so he went to check on his son.
When he opened the door, he did not see his son or Arrianga. When he opened the closet door, he found his son and Arrianga inside, according to the district attorney.
Arrianga allegedly tried to escape through a bedroom window before running out the door.
Arrianga is charged with one felony count of a lewd and lascivious act on a child under the age of 14. He is currently in jail.
