Don’t be alarmed: Routine siren test to be held this morning

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A day after tornado warnings alerted thousands of people across the Kansas City during severe weather, various cities are going forward with regularly-scheduled tornado siren tests.

The cities of Kansas City, Lee’s Summit and more said they will activate sirens at 11 a.m. on Wednesday.

Welcome KCMO Metro to June 2025. We will be activating the sirens this morning at 11:00am for the monthly siren test....
