ALMA, Mo. (KCTV) - A Missouri motorcycle driver was taken to a nearby hospital after he was partially thrown from his bike during a late-morning rollover crash.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol indicates that around 11:55 a.m. on Monday, June 9, emergency crews were called to the area of Missouri Highway 23 and Goodwin Rd., west of Alma, with reports of a motorcycle crash.

When first responders arrived, they said they found a 74-year-old Carrollton man had been driving a 2021 Harley-Davidson motorcycle south on the highway when, for an unknown reason, he veered off the right side of the roadway and the bike flipped.

State Troopers said the driver was partially thrown during the process. He was taken to the Western Missouri Medical Center with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators noted that the driver was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The bike sustained no damage as a result. No further information has been released.
