KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Another seasonally cool day is expected to kick off this new week! However, the cooler air will soon be replaced with a warm and humid air mass. The latest surge of heat and humidity will also come with rain chances for the end of the week. A First Warn in place Friday.

We’ll be mostly sunny and in the 70s by lunchtime. This afternoon, highs reach the mid to upper 70s. Our average is in the low to mid-80s. We’ll stay mostly sunny with a bit of a breeze all day, gusts up to 25 mph.

Here comes the summer heat and humidity! The remainder of the week will see high temperatures in the low to mid-80s and feel-like temps in the low 90s.

Tuesday: Warm & muggy. High temperatures reach around 84° with mostly sunny skies.

Wednesday: Looks to be the hottest day of the next seven. High temperatures reach the upper 80s with feels-like temperatures in the low to mid-90s. Skies will stay mostly sunny.

Thursday: Partly cloudy with a 30% chance for spotty rain. High temperatures are slightly cooler in the mid-80s, We will feel like the upper 80s to low 90s.

Friday First Warn: Scattered rain and thunderstorms are possible the first half of the day. Still warm and humid with a high of 83°.

Father’s Day Weekend: Spotty rain chances on Saturday, isolated on Sunday. High temperatures in the mid-80s, could feel more like 90° Sunday.
