JetBlue jet rolls off the runway while landing at Boston airport
BOSTON (Gray News) - A JetBlue plane went off the runway at Boston Logan International Airport on Thursday.
JetBlue flight 312, arriving from Chicago O’Hare International Airport, had landed and was turning off the runway when it rolled onto the grass, airport officials said.
No injuries were reported.
The engers on board were seen getting off the plane on a set of stairs. Officials said everyone was deplaned and bussed to the terminal.
The runway remained closed Thursday afternoon as emergency crews assessed the plane.
“We will conduct a full investigation of the incident and will work closely with the relevant authorities to understand the cause,” JetBlue said in an email to the Associated Press.
According to CNN, the Federal Aviation istration ordered a ground stop for Logan International Airport as they investigate.
No further information on what caused the incident has been provided.
