Tim Hortons now open in Kansas City metro with second location planned by end of 2025

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A coffee chain from Canada just opened its first location in the Kansas City metro.

Following a year of anticipation, Tim Hortons is serving coffee, donuts, sandwiches and wraps in Blue Springs. The location at 1900 NW Hwy 7, north of Interstate 70, held a soft opening June 11.

An official grand opening is planned for June 21. During the grand opening Tim Hortons will offer customers the following specials:

  • Hot or iced coffee $0.99
  • 10-pack of Timbits for $1
  • Free coffee for a month digital offer

The location is the first of several that are planned across Kansas City. Another location is expected to open near I-70 on NW Woods Chapel Road in Blue Springs.

The company announced it plans to open its second location at Crown Center by the end of the year.

According to the chain, it has over 5,500 locations across 13 countries and 4,000 shops in Canada alone.
